In Language Comprehension, the overall difficulty level of this section was average. Questions were asked from Reading comprehension & Vocabulary (two passages of 4 questions each were asked). Questions asked in passages were based on inferences which make the section difficult. Synonym, Antonym, para jumbles, idioms, phrases & cloze test were also asked. Attempt of 25 to 30 questions was good.
In General Awareness, this section comprises both easy & difficult questions. Most of them require one line answer. One liner types of question saved the precious time of the students. Surprising factor was inclusion of science based questions. Most of the questions were related to Geography, Polity, Economy & sports.
In Aptitude for Management & Communication Skills in BUMAT Exam, there were a total of 37 questions asked in this section & they took least time to solve. Surprising element was questions related to RBI’s Monetary Policies & Business Awareness. Questions on Liberalization & Globalization were also asked. An attempt of 27 to 32 questions was considered as good. Students who had scored 450+ in the paper had chances of safe selection.
The BUMAT Exam was divided into four sections - Computer Awareness, General Knowledge- IT and Science Related, English Language & Comprehension and Mathematics. The overall difficulty level of the BUMAT Exam was ranged from moderate to difficult.
General Knowledge- IT and Science Related: In BUMAT Exam, mostly questions were from current affairs, require knowledge of politics, business & economy (government schemes and programs), science and technology, sports and awards. There were nothing from history & the National Movement and environment & ecology, which generally form an important part of most of the entrance tests. The difficulty level of this part of BUMAT Exam was moderate.
BUMAT Exam expected Cutoffs:-
The minimum marks required by the applicant to be shortlist for the admission process of BUMAT Exam are known as cutoff marks. The officials- BVU, however, does not release any BUMAT Exam cutoff, rather calls students for the further counseling rounds on the basis of merit list.
