As per the study on exam analysis of MICAT Exam, the overall examination was difficult compared to last year. The sections of General Awareness and Quantitative Analysis were complicated. The section-wise MICAT Exam Analysis is given below based on previous year’s exam.
This section of MICAT exam checks the candidate’s analytical and creative writing skills. The first three questions were on the topic ‘has education shifted from a learning perspective to one focusing on earning’ related to each other. For the first two questions, candidates had to write three points for and against the topic. These two questions carried 10 marks each. In the third question, students had to write a answer of 300 words to show how learning can be made an integral to education. Twenty marks were allocated to this question. The fourth question of this section of MICAT Exam consisted of four pictures. Students had to write down a particular pictorial combination and explain it with the help of a story.
MICAT Exam Analysis 2019 of Reasoning: This section had 30 word-association, statement-assumption, data sufficiency and visual reasoning questions.

MICAT Exam Analysis of General Awareness: This section comprises 16 questions on National issues while 9 on international topics. Also, 19 questions were of static type while 6 were on current affairs. Overall level of this section was difficult than last year’s MICAT Exam.

There were 25 questions, out of which 19 were on QA and 6 were on DI. Questions were difficult than previous year MICAT Exam.

There were 36 questions in this part of MICAT Exam and all of them were compulsory. First set had three options for each question about a particular personality trait. Students had to select any single option. There were 10 questions of this type. The second set of questions of MICAT Exam one had to choose from a set of two arguments and to rate them in accordance with one’s personality traits. Around 16 questions were based on this pattern. In the third set of questions in MICAT Exam, the students had to rank 6 actions/response sentences in the given question in an order of decreasing importance. Around 10 questions were of this type. For someone accustomed to taking psychometric tests, this section was simple and less time consuming. Students are advised not to have pre-conceived notions about which option constitutes the perfect answer. Instead, they should attempt each question honestly.
MICAT Exam expected Cutoffs
